So, the last time I blogged I shared with you the reveal of our nursery. Since then we’ve welcomed to the world our precious little baby boy, Eli Weston. He was born January 22 and weighed 6lbs 12oz.
As you can see I’ve been one busy momma trying to take care of this little cutie! Being a new mother has not left me with too much time to myself, but after 7 months I’m finally starting to find some balance. So I’m making it a priority to take some time out to focus on myself, as well as taking some time to pursue my love and passion for my blog. I am beyond excited to be back on the blog sharing with you my life and style!
A lot has happened the past 7 months, and I’m just so excited to tell you all about my life these days, and what its like being a new mommy!
Well life as of right now is definitely a bit crazy, but very exciting at the same time! For starters, we are finally moving into our dream home after a year and a half of remodeling it! We are so excited and can hardly wait to move in! (We’re actually moving this weekend eeeee!!!!) This picture was taken a few months back when our kitchen was under construction. (Home reveal coming soon!)
Since Eli’s been born, we’ve celebrated a lot of first’s – first smile, first laugh (which I happen to catch accidentally on camera! Woohoo!) first solids, first Valentines Day, St. Patrick’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s day, 4th of July etc. There’s been many first’s, probably to many to list, but we are absolutely loving this stage of life! We can hardly wait to see what Eli’s next first will be!
This is one of my favorite photos ever! I absolutely love this picture of my little family! This photo was taken on my first Mother’s day. My husband totally spoiled me rotten! He got me 4 dozen red roses, balloons, and to top off all of that, he actually agreed to do a photo shoot lol because he knew that would make me so happy! (which it totally did!) For those of you that don’t know my husband, he absolutely hates getting his picture taken, it’s like the end of the world to him lol but nonetheless, he sucked it up for me so I could have these precious memories documented! Isn’t he the sweetest! Gosh I just love that man!
Lastly, we recently celebrated Eli’s 1/2 birthday! And I’m still emotional about it! I just can’t believe we are already half way through his first year! Where is the time going?!
Wow, looking back at all of this, it’s hard to believe it was all this year!
Well guys, this was just a tiny glimpse into what this year has held so far for us, and there is so much more to come! Thank you so much for reading, and I hope to see you back here!
P.S. – As a reader of Wynning Chance you can look forward to my posts about 1-2 times a week!
